OUR PAINTINGS
Hand-painted
replicas
produced by the
Art Conservation Department are carefully reviewed by the Expert
Copy Commission of
The State Russian Museum, which is headed by Dr. Eugenia
Petrova, the vice-director of the State Russian Museum. The Commission
compares our copies to the original painting and measures the quality of
the painted copy.
Paintings which do not meet the rigorous standards of the Commission
are not approved for export. Copies come with all documents.
Your replica will be identical to the original in all ways, except for two
restrictions;
they may not carry the signature of the Master artist (beautiful
and faithful to the original as our copies are, they cannot be forgeries!)
who painted the original and the size must vary in some degree from the
original. You can monitor the process of the copying via Internet each
stage of the way as your replica is created by our master artists on your
personal password protected web site
as the work progresses.
Paintings normally take approximately 8 - 12 weeks to complete,
depending on the scope of the
work and the availability of artists in out studio.
